NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will hold a public meeting in coordination with the Polk Transportation Planning Organization (Polk TPO) regarding the TPO’s Federal Certification Review. Representatives from the FHWA and the FTA will be present and are interested in hearing from the public. The primary purpose of this review is to certify that the Polk MPO is meeting the planning requirements as defined by federal laws and regulations. During this meeting the FHWA and FTA will share best or innovative planning practices, techniques and/or technology.

Come and express your thoughts and comments about the transportation planning process. Your comments will allow the Federal Review Team to obtain a better understanding of issues specific to Polk County.
