The Polk Transportation Planning Organization has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, February 9, 2023. This public hearing will take place at the Polk Transportation Planning Organization's board meeting, to be held at the Polk County History Center, 100 E. Main St., Bartow, beginning at 9 a.m.
During this meeting, we will consider amendments to the Fiscal Year 2022/23 – 2026/27 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) for Polk County. Public comments will be reviewed prior to taking action on these items. Interested parties may also submit written comments by mail to Ryan Kordek, Polk TPO, P.O. Box 9005, Drawer TS-05, Bartow, FL 33831-9005.
The TPO planning process is conducted in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Related Statutes. Any person or beneficiary who believes they have been discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or family status may file a complaint in writing with the TPO’s Title VI Specialist, Julia Davis, at the address listed above.
