Approved Amendments to the FY 2025/26 – 2029/30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

At its Dec. 9 meeting, the Polk Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Board approved amendments to the FY 2025/26 – 2029/30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

Key updates include:

• Adding a Rail Safety project on Crown Avenue from West Polk Street to West Main Street in Bartow.
• Modifying LAMTD FTA Section 5311 Operating Assistance with less than $2M in added federal and local funding.
• Amending LAMTD/Winter Haven UZA FTA Section 5307 Operating Assistance to include more than $2M in additional FY 2026 funding.
